The Wishing Fountain offers six categories of Wishes: Level Up (goods and Little Quirks), T&C Reno interiors, Quik Build decor, Island Builder paths, Palette House design categories and Travel Tickets. Most items unlock as the fountain ranks up, with the final interiors and decorations arriving at rank 80, while the 19 travel tickets unlock as you spend Wishes. Seasonal items rotate in at the fountain during each season.
Every rank-up of the Wishing Fountain gives you one Wish, and this page lists everything you can spend them on. Use it to plan which items you want next, to see what a higher fountain rank will bring or simply to check how close you are to completing a category. Names below are from the North American version of the game. European and Australian versions use different names for some items and buildings: T&C Reno is the Renovation Centre, Quik Build is the Island Design Centre and the Palette House is the Studio Workshop, and many individual items are renamed too.
Only Level Up is available when the fountain first appears. Each other category opens once the related part of your island exists:

Within each category, items marked “Start” are available as soon as the category opens, and the rest appear when your fountain reaches the listed rank. There’s no required order: you can unlock categories and items in any sequence you like.

A couple of ranks differ slightly between sources and game versions: the Ground Light appears at around rank 38–39, and Gravel is either available from the start or arrives at rank 4. Everything else in the list unlocks at the rank shown.
Travel tickets work differently from the rest of the fountain. Instead of depending on fountain rank, a new ticket unlocks as you spend Wishes: the first after 10, then one for every five more, until the 19th ticket arrives once you’ve spent 100 Wishes in total. Each new ticket also gives you a free bonus Wish, and a ticket can be reused later for one Wish per trip.

The last ticket is special: the Outer Space Tour is tied to the game’s end credits, so reaching it is the closest thing Living the Dream has to finishing the game.
Alongside the year-round list, new items appear at the fountain as the seasons change, following your console’s date. Once you unlock a seasonal item it becomes available in the relevant shop, and anything you’ve bought stays yours.

In the Southern Hemisphere the seasons are reversed, so winter items arrive in June. There is no autumn interior set.
There are just over 100 year-round unlocks across the Level Up, T&C Reno, Quik Build, Island Builder and Palette House categories, plus 19 travel tickets and dozens of seasonal and holiday items.
The final year-round items – the Train Car interior set and the Bell decoration – unlock at fountain rank 80.
Spend a total of 100 Wishes. The 19th and final travel ticket, Outer Space, unlocks at that point.
Items you’ve already unlocked or bought stay yours. New seasonal options appear at the fountain when their season begins.
